Conventional Wisdom states you should use Sub-Directories to organize your web Pages. Unfortunately the Page Indexing Tools Penalize your Page Rankings when you Do this, Many of the Page Ranking Algorithms in use today deem that pages close to your Root are of a Higher Value then pages that are further away from your root. If you have 2 Web Pages with the Exact same content (web1.html and web2.html) http://yourdomain.com/web1.html and http://yourdomain.com/articles/training/web2.html.

All things being equal Web1.html will have a higher ranking then Web2.html because Web1.html is in the Root Directory and Web2 is in a Sub Directory.

As a Web Designer or a Home Based Business owner wearing a Web Designer Hat it seems you have 2 Choices, do what seems right and in many ways best and use a Pretty Directory Structure and Loose Ranking points or Throw out the Directory Structure and Gain Ranking Points. Many People Choose the Directory structure either because they don’t know about the page Ranking Algorithms or they feel a strong need to be organized and are willing to sacrifice ranking points.

Pseudo Directories are the Best of Both Worlds. They allow you to keep your Directory organized and not loose ranking points. In fact by using meaningful names for your Pseudo Directories you can actually gain Ranking Points.

A quick lesson on File Naming if you have 3 Web Pages with identical content and they are named page1.html,bathroom.html and Home-Repair-Bathroom.html which file do you think will have the Lowest ranking and The Highest Ranking for the phrase “Bathroom repair”. Page1.html will be lowest ranked and Home-Repair-Bathroom.html will be the highest rank.

The Pseudo Directory takes advantage of this page naming structure to allow you to organize your Web Pages and still maximize your page ranking.

As an Example you have a Web Page that is Promoting products and Services to Homeowners and Would be Homeowners. You want to build some content rich web pages using articles that you find and Reprint. Using Conventional Methods you would have a Directory Structure that looks like

root/articles/Home-Loan/file.html,

root/articles/Home-Repair/file.html and

root/articles/Home-Selling/file.html etc.

With the Pseudo Directory method you keep all your files in the root Directory you just name them using the Optimal naming rules. Now you would simply have Pseudo Directories named

Home-Loan

Home-Repair

Home-Selling

So An Article on Roof Repair would be named home-repair-roof.html Similarly and article on Kitchen Repair would be named Home-Repair-Kitchens.html and on Bathroom repair would be named Home-Repair-Bathrooms.html. An Article on FHA Loan Loans would be named Home-Loan-FHA.html and an Article on how to sell your home by owner (FSBO) would be called Home-Selling-FSBO.html

This next step is optional but it does have a few advantages and will help increase your page rank even more. Create a Table of Contents or Site Map for each Pseudo Directory. So continuing with the above example create a Files called

Home-Loan-Contents.html - Links to all Home-Loan Files

Home-Repair-Contents.html - Links to all Home-Repair Files

Home-Selling-Contents.html - Links to all Home-Selling Files

Next (If you have more then 3 or 4 sub topics) Create a Page called Home-Contents.html where you have links to Home-Repair-contents.html and Home-Loan-contents.html and Home-Selling-contents.html …

I had the pleasure of sitting next to Jane at a networking meeting a few of weeks
ago. Random chance placed we two somewhat introverted people at the table next
to each other, and for the first 5-10 minutes we didn’t speak to each other at
all. This of course defies traditional networking convention.
Within 30 seconds of sitting down shouldn’t I have introduced myself, given her
my sales pitch and business card? Am I losing a sale here, and should I just forget
about networking because I am not good at it?

In a word, “no”.

It turns out that after a while Jane and I finally did get to talking, I learned
that Jane is a fine artist, that’s what she does, but beyond that I learned she
has a background in computer graphics, 3d modeling and working with a very high
profile computer gaming company - all of which I find interesting. And this, rather
than focusing on how I can help her business and vice-versa was the topic of conversation
over the next 10 minutes. I learned about Jane as a person, an artist and a small
business owner, and not once during the conversation did she ever focus on what
she and her business could get out of talking with me. Jane focused on establishing
a personal connection rather than making a sale.

Congratulations Jane, you get it.

Well, after we talked Jane did ask me for my business card - that’s important!
She asked for the card. Do you see the value that has over me springing
the card on her and moving on to the next person? This is called Permission
Marketing, and it absolutely best way you can network your business. I in turn
asked for her business card, and at that point I was truly interested in learning
about her business and how I might be able to help her. But it wasn’t until we
both had made a small investment in the personal relationship first.
Jane even was kind enough to offer to email over a software program that she was
using to test drive - that’s huge value.

Again, Jane gets it.

So why and how did this networking connection work? You can come up with your own theories, I am convinced it worked because each person:
* Invested in the relationship first rather than what they can get
* Gained permission first to market their business
* Wanted to provide value for the other person

Those looking for something upscale and secluded, on the other hand, may want to consider the area known as the Mayan Riviera. It’s called by several variations of this name, such as the Riviera Maya, and stretches along the coast from Cancn to Tulum. Areas like Playa del Carmen are a part of this beautiful coastline. Rental villas with private slices of beach, rather than sprawling hotel and resort complexes, line the shores here. Some areas of the Mayan Riviera, such as Xel Ha and Akumal, are also known for their eco-tourism opportunities.

So while it’s easy to see why students may enjoy the wilder side in the city of Cancn, it’s not difficult to understand how travelers can find the perfect honeymoon escape and family travel in the area as well. Mexico’s Caribbean coast has much more to offer than just Cancn, though the city has become a figurehead for its tourism.

But Portugal won (and they deserved it).

England, that met Portugal after the Dutch, was obviously not prepared for this of game. Rather than sticking to their own rules they were distracted and lost because of lack of discipline. Most of this could be set on account of one player, receiving a red card when the team cannot afford it:

Now the detail. This happened just now, when Portugal played against France. For the detail you had to observe Zidane the captain of the French team. He embraced Figo who he knows very well for they both played in Real Madrid. This little understanding that initiated Zidane was not without a meaning. Zidane - a real gentlemen - hinted the captain of the Portuguese team to a fair play. An important detail.

The sales was not out of this game however. Many tried to fake a fall in the penalty area, but besides this, there were no real incidents. Other than a real tackle by the Portuguese which led to a real penalty.

From that moment onward, the productivity of the Portuguese team wasn’t sufficient; although they tried, they didn’t get even.
The (business) lesson from all this is that in the end, the quality of the product beats the sales energy.

Now you’re work is done and it’s time for the coffee maker to pulls it’s weight. Use clean filtered water and fill the coffee maker to the desired level. Use about 6 ounces of water for every 2 heaping tablespoons of coffee. Turn it on and hang around while it brews. You’ll want to be there to enjoy the delightful aroma.

It was the day that changed course of my life.

As we walked together on that empty road he asked me, “When are you starting with your venture?”

He was a close friend. I had revealed him often how I would love to start my own online business from home and work towards financial independence.

He knew nothing about internet business. But he always heard me with attention and encouragement.

“Quite a time has passed since you first mentioned.” He smiled as I remembered.

“Next year. Something has come up. I do not think I will be able to do this year.” I replied.

What he said was never expected, “If you do not have time this year and think you will have next year, you will never have the time. Things are not going to change much tomorrow than they are today. If you want to do it then do it now.

As he parted after a long discussion he gave the final blow, “There will be no perfect time any day. If you postpone, it will fizzle out.”

Often I receive emails of people who ask when they should start their business. I have passed through same kind of phase. I will repeat the advice my friend gave me.

“NOW.”

Yes! Now is the right time for anything.

When we dream about a venture, knowingly or subconsciously we attach a state of perfection with that dream. It is a human habit. When mind dreams it does with perfection.

But reality is different. You might already have prior engagements that won’t leave you with perfect state of conditions to pursue your dreams. Shall you wait so that things become better? Well! The conditions did not improve in my case and as I see now they never become perfect.

A dream has to pass through congested reality before it could be realized.
Start now. The chaos which you face today would be present tomorrow also. These are the most frequent questions that trouble the mind of a potential starter.

# Where do I get extra time required?

Squeeze it. You do not need much of a time to work on the net. In case of business on the net, it is pretty manageable with small editing of your time management.

# What if I do not have resources?

Well! You need to search for what you can do. Cut down dispensable expenses like movies or eating out. Borrow if you can. If you are sincere enough you will find a way.

# I do not have a perfect plan.

Okay. Start with imperfect one that you have formulated. You can modify it along the way if you need. Start now. There is plenty to learn in the way. You cannot learn all before you start. And read this carefully. Nobody starts with perfect plan. Things shape up as you walk the path.

Action is what separates achievers from dreamers.

It is very easy to dream. There is no cost involved, no hindrance of any kind to stop the mind. Dreaming is the first step towards any endeavor. But dream must be followed by action to realize that dream.

If it is not followed by action a dream has got no meaning. World is full of wasted ideas and talents. Don’t let that happen to you.

Act now. Do not think tomorrow it will become better.

Tomorrow the things will be same.

-Now is perfect time.

-Now you have the right finances.

-Now you have the right knowledge to start.

Catch a dream. Make a plan and “Just do it.”
